At The Open University, we are proud to have been leading the way on teaching Earth and Environmental Sciences using flexible, distance and online learning methods over the past 50 years. We offer online degrees in Environmental Science, Geography and Environmental Science, and Natural Science (specialising in Earth or Environmental Science), which you can study at a variable pace and place that suits your needs. Our courses will provide you with a solid scientific basis on which to develop a range of practical and field-based skills, core employability skills and complete several independent research projects, each supported by a personal tutor. It goes without saying that all our courses are underpinned by our research, which is focussed on addressing key global challenges including climate change, sustainability and food security.
